Lead vocalist, Paul Johnson, has always had a passion for singing. One night in Nashville (at Tootsie's Orchid Lounge), a friend tipped the John Stone Band to get Paul on stage to sing one. After finishing his song, John asked Paul if he had a band down in Alabama. When Paul replied 'no', John said he should. This inspired Paul and he decided to form the band Twelve. The three other members (Tim Martin - drums, Darrayl Park - lead guitar, and James Chappell - bass guitar) are all local guys too. Twelve played 27 gigs in it's first 8 months (2019). Year two (2020) was much improved with 57 gigs. In 2021 things got really busy as we played 87 gigs - and are now playing over 100 gigs/weddings per year. We take pride in being personable, giving our fans a great show and making money for the venues that hire us. We also play weddings and any other type of private parties.
